BlogFest 2010: A Grand Slam Success!

As what the BlogFest 2010 Soccsksargen tagline describes “If you blog it, they will come” as evidenced by more than a hundred headstrong attendees coming from the all the corners of the Philippines.

Soccsksargen has also brought several of the country’s most respected web luminaries from here and around the globe to serve as key speakers gracing the said event.

Learning from these speakers made us aware of the importance of bloggers as key drivers, influencers and as agent of change of shaping the blogosphere; may it be security issues with regards to securing your internet, traffic generation for website, seo, monetization, creating kick-ass video animation and designing your blogs to increase user navigation, extracting statistics to measures your blog’s online presence and the likes.

The food is great – especially the fresh premium grade tuna sashimi that the generals are very proud of, dipped in kikoman sauce and wasabi. We are also very grateful of the warm hospitality that Gensan has brought us, sponsors, media, friends, bloggers etc.

I have come to summarize that the Soccsksargen Bloggers are tightly knit and well-organized, from a perspective point of view – from this I give it  5 out of 5 score a job well done. We hope to have another major blogging event next year perhaps?
