I did not expect things to happen on October 30, 2010 – the culmination of the Fourth Mindanao Blogging Summit (MBS4), in tandem with Philippine Blog Awards 2010 which was held in Zambaonga City.
One thing for sure, the nominees for the technology category for Mindanao I consider are the best and brightest technology blog finalists I’ve ever seen, met and brushed off with, most of them hailing from Davao City, and are members of the Davao Bloggers Network.
The moment of truth came When I checked the plurk updates of Orman Manansala and from his blog as well – Ganda Ever So Much, from my surprise! I did not think nor have a thought of it that my Tech Blog – Something Geeky had won – I came in following Alleba Blog who too also won from the same category, from that on – I had a mixed feeling whether or not if I would laugh, shout, or shed a tear of joy.
I always have this intense feeling of being recognized in the blogosphere and the passion in help moulding the internet – helping users of all walks of life in solving simple and sometimes complex day-to-day problems thru this tech blog. I’m challenged and inspired to write not because I wanted to, but influenced by this person a mentor no other than Lyle Santos and those who have surrounded me to do better – friends, bloggers, lovers of technology, movers of blogging, etc.
