smartbro plugit 02 300x225 How to Troubleshoot SmartBro Plug It on a Windows 7 Environment tips and tricksThere are instances when you install and setup two (2) or more different usb modems from either these internet service providers ie: smartbro, sun cellular and globe tattoo networks and they seem to work fine, then suddenly when you unplug them and putting it back on (interchanging or exchanging them) you may sometimes experience technical glitches – like unable to connect your preferred network for example on this demonstration I’ll be sharing is – SmartBro Plug-It.
The SmartBro Plug-It (HSDPA USB MODEM MF627)  installed earlier came in two separate pieces, white and black usb modems, I’ve set them up on a fresh smartbro plugit 03 300x225 How to Troubleshoot SmartBro Plug It on a Windows 7 Environment tips and tricksand clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate Edition on a new Acer Aspire 4736Z Laptop, first – installed the white smartbro usb modem – it worked fine plugged and unplugged, installed another set which is black – out of nowhere it went haywire! caused by conflicting software and drivers to mediate and iron things out – I suggest to use only one.

To resolve and escalate these issues, go to the Control Panel of Windows 7 point over Programs tab and below click uninstall a program look for any SmartBro program associated with and uninstall it and restart your computer.

Follow these step-by-step and you’re ready to roll!

Note: Once you plug-in your SmartBro Plug-It the autorun.exe popup – don’t click and install – these may cause problems (It took me two days to figure this one out for the quick fix). Please click on the images for a better and clearer view.

Another trick with smart bro is to manually make a dial-up connection with the following settings.

    Smart Bro
    Dial *99#
    APn. internet

Set timeout to 0, redial attempts unlimited, redial if line is dropped.

this should automatically redial if your line is dropped (as always with smart bro)
