Share 3G Internet Connection just got easy!

Share your 3G Internet from Step 1 to 9.

Here’s an inexpensive way to set up your own internet sharing connection for those who can’t afford to buy a router.

It somehow took quite a while to figure out how it works, to share an internet connection using the 3G Globe Tattoo USB stick, after a few tweaks it finally worked. Yay!

Then you don’t want your colleagues or office mates bugging you when they want to use your computer, while you’re doing research and browsing the internet, so I’ve created a quick fix for this, had an 8-port switch in place and two computers connected thru a local area network.

First thing first.

To get things started here’s what you should do:

Step 1:

On your Windows 7 computer, click start – Control Panel

Step 6:

Right-Click – Properties

Step 7:

Options – PPP Settings, check Negotiate multi-link for single-link connections, then OK

Step 8:

Go back to Step 7 at Sharing tab Check all three boxes under Internet Connection Sharing click OK.

Step 9:

Once the connection is established and shared.

Go back to Step 6 – Local Area Connection – Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) the assigned IP Address for LAN is 192.168.137.1 use this address in setting up the default gateway for client computers.

Before you start.

Make sure the Globe Tattoo USB stick software is installed in your laptop or computer.
