Adii the Co-Founder of WooThemes has confirmed the DDoS Attack sent via email.
According to Warren:
Status Update: 18:00PM GMT+2 (30/04/2012)
When it rains, it pours. Our server has been under a DDoS attack for the last twelve hours, we’re working extremely hard with our hosting provider in getting this resolved. At this time we have no definite time on when we will be up again, or why we are being targeted… You can read more about the attack here.
Your continued patience in these testing times is greatly appreciated.
The WooFramework has recently been patched to fix a possible security exploit in the shortcode generator’s “preview” functionality. While our automatic update system is offline due to the downtime on our server, please e-mail us on email@example.com where we can get a copy of the latest WooFramework to you, with instructions on how to apply the patch using a quick, 4-step, process.
Please note our DDos attack and the WooFramework patch are completely unrelated, and you are not subject to similar attacks.
