The Department of Education on its memorandum released earlier posted the minimum specifications for PCs, laptops, mobile devices, tablets, smartphones, and internet services to public school teachers and students.

These internet capable devices, will be used for distance learning purposes including laptops, desktops, and among others.
Laptops for teachers (Desktop for students):

Monitor: 13-inch FHD (1920 x 1080), Anti-Glare LED or IPS

The ideal budget on internet services for students is PHP 300 with 6GB bandwidth, while it is PHP 500 for teachers with 10GB bandwidth.
DepEd also noted that donors should write a deed of donation for the gadgets addressed to either the department’s division office or the chosen schools for record-keeping. Benefactors are not required to install Microsoft Office as the department has a Volume Licensing Agreement which allows the installation of the software to all devices used in public schools.
The department may also issue an “email of eligibility” to manufacturers. This will allow them to produce devices with a discounted Windows 10 Operating System.
