Last December 2010, Google did some minor toolbar update on the second or third week. The said update included an increase and decrease of backlinks from sites linking back from yours to theirs, and recently the controversial move of penalizing site/s with bad reviews. To prove such claims, I have noticed that the keyword “Zest Air” review regarding the service used to rank number 4 in the google serps and later on landed on the 3rd or 4th pages.
Anyways, I’ve checked the toolbar update today, some of my site’s ranking dipped, one of them was
GeekyFaust which was previously PR4 last December 2010 and it’s down to PR3. I’ve congratulated Ganda Ever So Much for earning a raise from PR3 and got up to PR4. We exchanged ideas and he said try removing the blogroll links, (tech advice coming from Lyle Santos) because google frowns on them which I did a little link removal and do some more internal linking and less outbound links.
Have you experienced a Google PR Update today? let me know.

Yes, there is a Google PR update. Googles move of penalizing bad review sites might be a good one from the end user point of view but as far as webmasters are concerned, they need to pump up with some good reviews for their sites.
Thanks for sharing this article with us here. Looking forward for some more great posts from your end. Cheers!!! 🙂
