I’m retiring my point and shoot camera the Sony Ericsson C903 cybershot camera – I’ve carried it around awhile on special occasions, meet-ups, geek-ups and blogging events, now It’s about time to get an upgrade for a more serious coverage.

Check these samples:

  • Nikon D600

The Nikon D3100 DSLR is a decent entry-level dslr camera for beginners who are on a tight budget – This is most especially important because you don’t want to buy high-end camera that does not tailor fit your basic photography needs.

The dial and control buttons are pretty straight-forward to use – I find the Manual Settings very handy when capturing or doing close, macro, detail shots – its like taking photos closer by an inch. Another plus factor of the DSLR – it can play and record full HD 1080 videos.

The Nikon D3100 comes with a standard or common 18-55 Vibration Reduction (VR) Kit or AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.5.6 VR.
