Here’s the idea that I pitched. It was delivered in-front of 120+ attendees last November 9, 2012 at the Philippine College of Technology and here are the excerpts:
Hello Folks!
Do you want to spy on your kids and teens on what they are doing that you think is suspicious? No! that’s not what I meant of What I mean is tracking your kids and students performance and class standing in school. Parent’s need to know what’s going on with their kid’s school attendance and most importantly their grades. Grades are submitted in the form of Report Cards and are turned over to students for them to show to their parents, in some cases some of these report cards are lost during transport and cause delays in the delivery of basic school services.
e-Grado Mo comes into picture – an app capable of providing grades, performance, proficiency level and attendance of students with real-time statistics for parents and educators, it’s fast, convenient, secure and therefore will be based for decision-making. Hopefully dropping out, cutting classes and unwarranted absences will be mitigated.
This app is targeted for clients like private schools and universities on subscription or b2b business revenue model.
I’m calling out developers for web, android and ios and ui designers to come and join us on this endeavor. I’m Faust Principe of GeekyFaust.info, educator.
There were around 25 pitches, each presenter were given 60 seconds to share whats the app all about, pitching ideas selected were written on paper and posted on walls, trimmed down to 14 based on the most number of votes. e-Grado Mo did not make it to the top 14 eliminations, as it got 2 votes – fail!
Thanks to those showed interest and support.
