Lenovo Launches with the Vibe Z2 Pro Smartphone

By Faust Principe October 14, 2014

Vibe Z2 Pro
Lenovo introduces the Lenovo VIBE Z2 Pro, the most feature-rich and powerful model within its flagship VIBE smartphone series. The VIBE Z2 Pro combines cutting-edge mobile imaging technologies in a svelte design.

Lenovo Philippines Country General Manager Michael Ngan shared, “The new Vibe Z2 Pro proves that Lenovo’s smartphone portfolio is growing. The VIBE Z2 Pro is perfect for tech-savvy consumers who demand best-in-class entertainment and ability to run sophisticated apps.”

Advanced imaging sensor and optics
VIBE Z2 Pro offers a wide range of professional photography features. Unlike other smartphones, the 16MP rear camera uses a 16:9 BSI sensor that captures widescreen photos at full resolution. It also supports 4K resolution and high-speed 120fps recordings.

Enhanced 6 element lens boost the already strong low-light shooting performance of the BSI sensor. Shutterbugs will also appreciate Zero Shutter Lag, manual shooting settings and a HDR-ready custom SNAPit camera app.

Razor-sharp and bright screen
The VIBE Z2 Pro’s IPS panel packs 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and its 490ppi screen density is one of the highest among existing premium smartphones.

Rated at 500 nits maximum brightness output, the display is easily viewable outdoors coupled with richer colours and wide viewing angles. In addition, with 83.5% of the usable screen estate, users can view more content, thanks to an ultra-narrow frame design.

Blazing-fast processor and abundant memory
Operating at up to 2.5GHz, Snapdragon 801 processor can load and run apps quicker than other chips and users can count on its quad-core architecture and 3GB of RAM for a seamless multitasking experience.

The high-capacity battery and VIBE Z2 Pro’s advanced energy-saving features ensure long hours of use.

Dual SIM convenient and custom Lenovo DOit apps
For frequent travellers, dual SIM support with 4G compatibility makes international roaming a breeze. Also available is a suite of custom Lenovo DOit apps such as SHAREit, SYNCit and SEEit Gallery. SHAREit is a hassle-free way to wirelessly share content; SYNCit backs up user’s contacts and other data to the cloud; SEEit Gallery is an intuitive photo management tool featuring one-touch editing capability.

Pricing and Availability
The Lenovo VIBE Z2 is now available at all Lenovo Mobile Exclusive Stores and authorized resellers of Open Communications, Lenovo’s exclusive smartphone distributor in the Philippines at Php29, 999.
