Back on my usual grind checking my emails from time to time. Namecheap Support alerted me check out the details below:
Namecheap Increase Price good or bad?
Namecheap an ICANN-accredited domain registrar, which provides cheap with the most reliable service, domain name registration, and web hosting will be increasing the price on domain renewals.
We are writing to let you know that from January 5th 2021, the renewal price will increase for .info, .pro, .mobie, .blue, .red, .black, .pink, .poker, .kim, .lgbt, .shiksha, xn--6frz82g, and .llc domains.
We partner with many domain providers to bring you the widest range possible. But occasionally their prices increase, which means we need to increase our prices too.
Please be aware that the prices for registrations and transfers will also rise on these dates.
Below you can see a list of domains that have been affected and their new prices.
But for new domains the price is quite the same.
