UnionBank EON: Have your card EMV ready

By Faust Principe October 15, 2017

UnionBank have announced earlier thru their ATM kiosk the cut-off  for existing EON debit card holders on or before November  1, 2017.

Thinking  that my EON card will be replaced right away. I went to the UnionBank Magsaysay branch and was told to visit this site: www.eonbankph.com/levelup, I fill-up the necessary details and right after submitting it, a message was sent thru my SMS and Email to wait on or before October 21, 2017.

This move has something to do with standardizing all cards to be EMV compliant, most of my cards for transacting are already EMV compliant, the cards that I have right now are ONB One Network Bank Mastercard and Philippine Veterans Bank PVB.

My EON card is very handy and convenient as this is all my online business transactions pass thru it, especially it is linked thru my paypal account.

Update your EON Visa card and have a secure peace of mind now!
