Definition of terms

If we can, we avoid using legal terms and explain terms and definitions in simpler terms. However, there are terms that we need to use as covered in RA 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

In this Policy and for this Service, the Department of Education, Office of the Undersecretary for Administration (DepEd OUA) is your PIC or data controller.
  • Personal Information Processor (PIP). PIP or the data processor is any natural or legal person qualified to process PII. In this Policy and for this Service, this refers to Intelimina Systems Inc and its authorized employees designated to manage, maintain, and secure this Service.

Other information that is aggregated and not associated with a specific individual, including demographic information and statistics that we collect (by way of cookies, see the last section), like time zone, region, browser type, device type, and IP address, are not combined with data identifiable to you, and therefore should not point to you as an individual or entity.

Your non-identifying personal data are aggregated and anonymized, and collected as a statistical tool for us to know which pages, modules, or menus were often read or visited. None of these are shared in a way to contact or identify you.

  • Right of Information. This policy’s declaration is a manifestation of your right of information.
  • Right of Access. We store your information for as long as needed and necessary. Should you need to retrieve them, and if within our retention period, then we will gladly oblige.
