The Top 3 Upcoming ESports Tournaments In August 2022

By Faust Principe August 4, 2022

A big chunk of prestigious eSports events will take place in the last month of summer 2022. So, August is promised to be a month of emotions in CS:GO, Dota 2, and League of Legends. And it is no wonder, especially after the announcement of certain big events that are coming in these game titles.

But before that time comes, we want to  take a look at the 3 most promising events of this summer season. And what better way to do it than with the help of the https://gg205.bet/en-ca/ website, in which we will find all the needed info about the upcoming tournaments. From the last Dota 2 Major in Arlington to BLAST Premier: Fall Groups, as well as LEC Summer Split 2022 Playoffs being on everyone’s lips after the decisive results of the regular season. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at these events!

PGL Arlington Major

This Thursday, August 4, the last Major tournament on the Dota 2 circuit in 2022 starts its way. During this weekend, the 18 best teams divided into two groups will compete in the Group stage to battle for spots in Playoffs. But we will have to wait until August 9 to meet the top eight teams from each group advancing to the Bo3 matches.

As always, after reaching the Playoffs, teams can no longer afford to make mistakes with a double-elimination bracket applied. On August 14, the two semi-finalists will compete in the Grand Final, which is Bo5, to determine the winner of this Major.

The Teams to Qualify for the Event

It should be noted that the best eighteen teams of their respective regions have their guaranteed presence in Arlington based on the different regional DPC Tour 3 rankings. In this way, teams such as Royal Never Give Up, Aster, Xtreme Gaming, PSG.LGD, BOOM Esports, Talon, Fnatic, Team Spirit, Outsiders, NaVi, OG, Tundra Esports, Team Secret, Entity, Thunder Awaken, beastcoast, Evil Geniuses, and Quincy Crew will travel to Texas city for the upcoming Major event.

LEC Summer 2022 Playoffs

The regular season of the Summer Split 2022 Super League has been given something to talk about for a long time. While Team Heretics was the team that held the first position during the season, things changed after the Giants’ victory in the closing match. Nevertheless, with all the games already played and all the squads qualified, it is time to think about the Playoff stage of the Summer Split.

The Big Favorites of the Championship

With the six epic weeks of decisive results, we can mark the top five teams that serve as the giant killers of the League of Legends domestic competition. To start with, such teams as Rogue, Fnatic, and Misfits are considered the main protagonists in terms of performance for the regular season.

Also, with last week’s results, G2 Esports won the two games and are back in the top half of the league. We think the boys from G2 have all the chances to lift the title unless they don’t allow surprises.

Likewise, Finetwork KOI started the summer campaign with several consecutive defeats. Nevertheless, they managed to play the pass to the playoffs in the last game of the regular season. And this gives the KOI boys the opportunity to leave behind the bad results of the first division and fight to lift their Super League title.

BLAST Premier: Fall Groups

The scene is still in the player break resting for a hard second half of the 2022 season. After intense weeks of signings and moves, the best international CS:GO starts this month. This way, from August 19 to 28, the top 12 teams on the international scene return to the competition with the BLAST Premier: Fall Groups, competing for a spot in the Fall Finals, additional BLAST Premier points, and a prize pool of $177,500.

Great reasons to see BLAST Premier: Fall Groups

As we have said earlier, it has been several weeks without Valve’s shooter competitions, and some great changes appear so as not to miss a single match. It will be the first time you can see Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen with G2 Esports. NaVi returns to the competition as one of the main protagonists in the CS:GO competitive scene.

In addition, with all the latest signings, you will be able to see several important debuts in addition to the mentioned above G2. Yekindar with Team Liquid, Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski with OG, and a talented degster with Spirit. All these changes create a considerable hype for the upcoming BLAST Premier: Fall Groups tournament.
