Best QR Code Apps for contract tracing has arrived!

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to ravage, and the rising infected individuals spread like wildfire.

It inflicted symptoms like no other on thousands of Filipinos both Philippines, and abroad.

Our local government from the local and regional levels has enforced strict and border patrol units to mitigate citizens from entering their respective neighbors.

Contract tracing apps help mitigate COVID-19 infections!

To move around the city(ies), individuals and businesses carrying and transporting essential necessities needed for the country’s economy, respective local and regional government authorities implemented and enforced a QR Code Contact Tracing System or Quick Release Code Contract Tracing System which contains unique identification features for contact tracing purposes for the safety and travel of citizens.

QR Code Apps in the Philippines

1 – Davao City

Register as Individual and Register as Business Establishment – The Safe Davao QR Code web app, is in full swing and full in full throttle and launched by the City Government of Davao last October 31, 2020.

The Davao Sage QR code web app is split into two to decongest the traffic and voluminous sign-ups. We have separate pages for those who wish to register as an Individual and for Business Establishment.

On a single day, it had 10,000 thousand sign-ups in a day.

The web app is undergoing performance tuning to address the bulk of the registrations.

2 – Samal

https://www.itracsamal.com – the app itself is simple to fill-up.

The lower portion requires you to provide an employment certificate address and a health certificate from your place of origin.

3 – Digos City

http://www.digoscity.online – I love how they placed their FAQ on-site and their response operations statistics.

Contact centers showcasing their performance and updates. The only issue is their site is not secure with SSL layer protection.

4 – Davao del Sur

https://davaodelsur.gov.ph – the site is hosting the South Cotabato web app.

5 – Davao del Sur passing Malungon, Saranggani

https://malungon.ph/register/choose – a non-resident form is available.

Simple to fill-up.

Scrolling down at the last bottom portion you’ll have to disclose the purpose of your visit and have to be specific in the details.

Filling up entry forms is a breeze! the app will send six-digit keys for authentication.

Key in the OTP key in the form, and you’ll be redirected with two sub-tab buttons.

Click the download button either in JPG and PDF format.

6 – Davao del Norte

https://davnorsystems.gov.ph/DavNorContactTracing/ – I’m a sucker for explainers, I love reading their site, it’s informative and they’re using their native language. There’s a button for non-residents to fill up.

7 – South Cotabato/North Cotabato

https://southcotabato.ph/web/Register/Citizen – It’s quite easy to fill-up, on the other hand, you’ll encounter but minor hiccup – On a technical aspect, it does not have a photo upload feature(s) where you can upload your personal photo.

And the downloaded ID has a lot of whitespaces, it automatically downloads a PDF format QR Code ID.

8 – General Santos City

http://tapat.gensantos.gov.ph/qrcoderegistration – upon fill-up will ask you to fill up travel details when you’re outside Gensan.

Provide seat and bus, other details might ask you if you’re PCR tested, and a geo point location.

Fill in and register the necessary information. The first QR code will be issued.

And to follow up another form for you to register using the downloaded QR code.

Note: The site is not SSL secured.

9 – Cotabato City

https://www.cotabatocity.ph/registration – the site will redirect you to SouthCotabato CCTS – Register Citizen.

10 – Cagayan De Oro

https://services.cagayandeoro.gov.ph:8087/higala/Default.aspx – their app is simple to fill the entries follow-up q quick download a QR code in JPG format.

11 – Surigao

https://covid19.ssct.edu.ph/healthform – Upon full-screen load, you’ll be greeted by a splash-screen e-HEALTH Pass.

Register as Person or Establishment. Unfortunately, this app is only for their own residents.

12 – Agusan del Sur

https://serve.pgas.ph/covid19qr – the form is simple, and straightforward for basic information.

First things first!

Fill up basic information, upload your photo, follow and check, tick the boxes once you’re done, click the Generate button, and QR Code with your ID and will download automatically.

13 – Stay Safe Philippines

https://www.staysafe.ph – StaySafe Philippines app is a community-driven contact tracing, health and reporting, and social distancing system.!

Three (3) App flavors are available for download at Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Huawei App Gallery.
