Gives away 8force Workspace as “freemium”

Manila, Philippines — Singapore based 8force.com, a suite of business software apps designed for the small business owner launches in the Philippines with no less than its flagship app 8force Workspace to be given away as “freemium”.

According to 8force.com Sales & Marketing Director, Gerald Corteza, a seasoned B2B sales and marketing professional with more than 15 years of solid experience working with SMBs, “unlike most other online collaboration tools, 8force Workspace is designed with the small business owner in mind. With its simple architecture, uncluttered interface and straightforward design, users will get more work done in a highly collaborative environment.”

Hans Eric Roxas-Chua, CEO of E-Learning Edge, one of the first companies to use the software in the country is positive with the smart features of 8force. “We are migrating to 8force CRM for our B2B and B2C sales for its simplicity. Unlike our old app which takes so much to accomplish a task, we see 8force as way simpler, which is just right for growing businesses like ours,” according to Roxas-Chua.

8Force is a cloud-based software solution that helps businesses make their day-to-day operations easier by reinforcing collaboration, which brings about operational efficiency and boosts productivity. It is an online workspace on which business owners can manage their teams, departments, companies; even suppliers, consultants, clients and other external users by creating and adding them up on the online workspace. SMBs can choose with whom to collaborate on a specific workspace. It is also accessible on the mobile web with an app downloadable on iTunes.

“We are excited about 8force’s lead-management functionality. Straight from our website, 8force captures signups as leads, queues and assigns them automatically to our salespeople and records every conversation with our potential enrolees; from a mere sales lead up to the time it matures into a paying customer. The customer information management functionality is very important to us as it gets us closer to our target enrollees, affording us every possible time to know them more, their needs, and wants, based on which we are able to determine what better solution to offer them,”adds Roxas-Chua.

8force currently has two major applications: 8force Workspace comprising Newsfeed, Taskboard, Document, Pages, Contacts and Phone, as well as 8force CRM, which includes Sales, Invoice and Helpdesk — an end-to-end solution to managing sales potentials, closing deals, sending quotations/invoices, tracking payments, and administering helpdesk issues.

For interested users, 8force CRM comes with a free 30-day trial, accessible via www.8force.com. For more information, however, contact Gerald Corteza through +63 02 218 7324, email him via gerald@8force.com, or like 8forcePH at Facebook.
