This coming May 15, 2010 my HP Compaq Presario C767TU under the family of hp laptop, that I bought will be turning two (2) years old. The good thing about this laptop it has never physically broke up with me, except on some occasions I have to reinstall the operating system couple of times because it went amok caused by a computer virus, after installing and setting of necessary applications and software I made sure backup images are created, just in case I go the same dilemma over again, deployment will be easy.
This HP Compaq Presario C767TU laptop is beefed up with 2 Gb. of system memory, a hard drive of 250 Gb, a processor of 1.73 Ghz dual core, comes with a widescreen lcd measuring approx. 15.4” good for viewing high-definition movies, has SD slot for uploading pictures and other media, various connectors include S-Video, LAN, VGA port, DVD Writer, three (3) USB, best of all it’s Wifi ready.
Where ever I go, I always bring my laptop with me – in blogging events, seminar training workshops, meeting with some friends, doing projects for clients and a bloggers dream of making money online.
What I like about this laptop:
Better viewing of high-definition videos since it’s widescreen, I find the keypad spacious enough to accommodate my ubberly sized fingers.
What I don’t like:
After long use the keypad area seems to get very hot – hands get sweaty, the internal camera works fine and clear during the day, but image looks blurry during night-time, It’s quite bulky – it weighs over 2.5x kilos I have to bring a backpack to carry it around, battery life somewhat shortened in a couple of an hour – I keep it plugged to a power outlet on high performance mode – (battery though deteriorates over time)
been here…bloghopping
thanks for dropping by..
Well, I’m not sure, but as far as my knowledge extends, battery life doesn’t “really deteriorate.”
By that I’m saying that keeping the Laptop plugged in most of the time (not all the time) is very healthy since you don’t need to run down the battery too often.
Laptops nowadays don’t overcharge because once the battery is charged they start sucking from the AC Adapter so the battery remains fully charged and don’t overload while you’re plugged.
It’s only healthy to run on battery every 2-3x a month to keep the chemicals intact and running inside.
I’m not saying that running often on battery is bad, but being plugged in as often as possible is better.
